Scholarship

The Born and Raised in Watsonville Scholarship was started by Jessica Carrasco and the Watsonville community in 2019. Jessica created her art brand, Carrasco Concepts, to highlight her hometown, Watsonville, in a positive way. Every image (or “concept”) she makes is designed to inspire community pride and give back to Watsonville. Half of the profit Jessica makes from selling her Carrasco Concepts stickers goes directly toward funding this scholarship. This means that the more stickers she sells, the more scholarships she can give out each year!

If you’re interested in donating to help fund even more scholarships, please email carrascoconcepts@gmail.com and ask how you can contribute.

The goal of the scholarship is to financially help high school seniors who plan to attend college or a technical school in the fall of 2025.

Each scholarship is worth $500, and depending on sticker sales or donations, there may be more than one award available.
